With 28 years of experience in higher education at both private and state institutions, I am committed to serving as TASFAA President-Elect, if given the opportunity. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand how vital financial aid professionals are to ensuring student access and success. The landscape of higher education is constantly evolving—shaped by shifts in federal and state policy, advancements in technology, and broader social and economic factors. As financial aid professionals, we are on the front lines of these changes, and our ability to adapt, share knowledge, and support one another has never been more important.
Throughout my career, I have relied on the strength and expertise of my colleagues across the state. TASFAA serves as a space where collaboration, professional growth, and advocacy come together. I believe in the value of this community, and I want to help ensure it remains strong, forward-thinking, and engaged.
If given the opportunity to serve as TASFAA President-Elect, I would focus on supporting and helping financial aid professionals stay informed, connected, and confident in their roles. By strengthening our professional community, we ultimately strengthen our ability to serve students well.
