Annual Conference

Each fall, TASFAA hosts a conference to bring together financial aid professionals from across the state to exchange ideas, information, best practices, and fellowship. The conference usually takes place the second week of October.

New Aid Officer's Basics (Fall)

Prior to the fall conference, TASFAA offers a 2-day training for new aid officers, providing a basic overview of financial aid programs.

New Aid Officer's Workshop (Spring)

Each spring, TASFAA hosts a 3-day workshop that provides a deep dive into financial aid programs and regulatory requirements. The New Aid Officer Workshop typically takes place in April.

High School Counselor Training

The TASFAA Early Awareness Committee provides resources and information for high school counselors and education partners to support financial aid education across the state.

Texas Regional Training

TASFAA hosts a 1-day regional training in different areas of the state to educate members on various financial aid topics.
