From the Candidate:
My name is Rolph Zehntner, and I’m excited for the opportunity to contribute to the leadership of TASFAA as part of its Board of Directors. I have over seventeen years of experience in higher education and more than a decade in student financial aid; I’m a NASFAA-certified Financial Aid Administrator® and serve as the Assistant Vice President of Financial Aid and Scholarships at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). I am passionate about our mission of access to an excellent education, playing a key role in the expansion of our Promise program and the implementation of our holistic scholarship model. I’ve also advocated for institutional grants to help support our neediest students beyond tuition and fees, and I’ve leveraged technology and automation to redirect resources to outreach, advising, and improving the student experience.
