From the Candidate:
I believe I would be a strong fit for the role of Board Member at Large because of my ability to contribute flexibly, strategically, and collaboratively to the board’s work on behalf of TASFAA. Because of my previous work with state organizations in California and Delaware, I believe I have the ability to assist with responsibilities as they arise—whether that's participating in committees, leading short-term initiatives, or offering thoughtful input on complex decisions. I appreciate the opportunity to help the organization meet the needs of its members and contributing to growth within the financial aid field. Additionally, I value governance and transparency and take seriously the responsibility of helping to ensure the board's actions align with the organization’s strategic goals. This adaptability, paired with my varied financial aid experience with different organizations enables me to be both a responsive and proactive contributor wherever I am most needed.
